The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced the official cut off mark for 2025. This was made public after the JAMB policy meeting 2025 held in Abuja. The announcement affects all universities, polytechnics, and colleges of education in Nigeria.

According to the JAMB portal, candidates who scored below the national minimum will not be considered for admission into any tertiary institution in the country.

UTME Cut Off Marks for 2025 Admission

The JAMB UTME cut off marks for 2025 are now out. Here are the official marks approved:

• University: 140 and above
• Polytechnic: 100 and above
• College of Education: 100 and above
• Innovation Enterprise Institutions: 100 and above

These marks were confirmed at the 2025 JAMB policy meeting and will be used by schools during the admission process.

What JAMB Says About Cut Off Mark

JAMB has also said that institutions are allowed to set their own cut off mark, but it must not be lower than the national minimum set by the board. This means some universities might set higher marks based on how many students applied to them.
